The KASF is a national organization with separate regions in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Chicago. In order to better serve the fast growing number of Korean-American students nationwide, the KASF established a national executive board composed of representatives from each of the regions in 1989.

Each region has its own board of directors and officers which oversees fund raising, scholarship selection, membership and other related committee activities.
